Topic B: Conclusions about using the FAIRstart program
Discussion and reflections for 20 minutes:

  • Looking at these questions and answers, can you sum up the competences you now have as professional foster parents? What are the three most important competences?
  • Your participation in this training: How can you use what you learned to promote your foster care in order to lift its status in the local environment and make people respect your profession and the children you care for?


Group activity 20 minutes: discussion (or individual reflection for single foster parents) between foster parents, or the foster parents and their supervisor:

  • My participation in the FAIRstart training: How can I use what I learned to promote my foster care in order to lift my status in the local environment and make people respect my profession and the children we care for?
  • What comments and suggestions for program improvements do I have for the designers of the FAIRstart training or the local trainers/supervisors?
